Fire-resistant rubber sheet is characterized by high thermal resistance and will perform well wherever high temperatures occur. Made of SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber), it stands out for its high hardness and wear resistance. Excellent for workshops, production halls and industrial facilities.

The SBR fire-resistant rubber sheet combines thermal resistance with high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. Thanks to its flexibility and cushioning properties it can be used as a protective material in places where there is high temperature, intensive use and risk of contact with fire.

Properties of the fire-resistant sheet

  • Thickness: 3–50 mm, width: 1.2 m or 1.4 m, length: 5–10 m

  • The thicker the sheet, the greater the abrasion resistance

  • The SBR fire-resistant version surpasses the standard one in terms of thermal resistance

  • Possibility to reinforce sheets with one or two spacer interlayers

  • Resistant to short-term contact with fire, temperature range: –30 °C to +70 °C

  • Slip-resistant, cushioning and load-bearing sheet

  • Meets occupational health and safety and fire protection standards

SBR fire-resistant rubber sheet - When is it worth using?

The SBR fire-resistant sheet is most suitable in places where the material is exposed to elevated temperature, abrasion and heavy loads. Depending on the application, the appropriate thickness, width and type of sheet can be selected to provide proper protection for a surface or device.

Applications of the fire-resistant sheet

  • Use in high-temperature zones: welding shops, steelworks, refineries, mines

  • Also in the chemical and food industries – under machines, work tables

  • Useful in places at risk of explosion (methane, coal dust)

  • Excellent as a gasket, equipment mat, factory flooring or channel lining

Fire-resistant rubber sheets can also be cut to the required shape and size, which makes it easier to fit them to specific machines, equipment and surfaces. When choosing the material, it is worth considering the operating temperature, load and environmental conditions.
