Healthy Diet and Active Lifestyle
A healthy diet and an active lifestyle are fundamental to having greater energy resources and are a spreading standard for people in the 21st century, especially in large cities.
Cities full of crowds, rush, and lack of time.
How do we currently try to solve the lack of time and active lifestyle?
We shorten the distance between the points we want to visit. By limiting the distance needed to travel, we save time. Unnecessary kilometers traveled in a car or public transport, especially after a workout from a fitness studio or gym, are also inconvenient aspects of having a gym outside the home and a key factor discouraging visits to sports facilities, which is clearly visible in winter.
Shortening this distance allows minimizing losses dedicated to commuting and converting them, for example, into an additional set of exercises, or even starting them altogether. This is where a home gym comes in handy.
The proximity of a gym to one's place of residence allows us to minimize losses dedicated to commuting. We can definitely gain the most by having such a place to exercise in our own home.
Where to start equipping a home gym?
Equipping a home gym should start with the basics, meaning we need to take care of protecting the floor. By investing in rubber flooring for a home gym, we protect the floor from falling weights, minimizing the risk of damage (scratches, chips, holes). Equally important is soundproofing, which is the reduction of noise generated during exercises.
To arrange a workout zone at home, it is necessary to install flooring early, which will reduce the amount of work, especially when moving exercise machines and equipment.
Here you will find gym flooring – puzzles, in rolls, and many others
Types of home gym flooring
If you want to precisely protect panels, tiles, terracotta, floor tiles, floor panels or parquet, you should choose a product made of solid rubber. Dropping a weight or dumbbell, thanks to the excellent density of the rubber, reduces the speed of gym equipment elements during their uncontrolled fall by dampening and absorbing vibrations. Placing exercise machines directly on a wooden floor or terracotta leads to its damage and costly repair.
Two types of rubber flooring are available in production:
-
The first is a rubber mat in a roll. It allows for quick installation and a small number of joints for individual mat sections. These mats are produced up to 10 mm thick, which is an ideal solution for sports equipment or fitness exercises.
-
For training with heavier equipment, we recommend the second type of flooring, puzzle-type flooring. This type of flooring is produced from 10 mm, in 5 mm increments, up to 25 mm. They provide excellent soundproofing, easy installation, and a convenient way to transport to the target exercise area.
A room with proper ventilation and well-protected flooring is ready for further furnishing. Rubber mats for gyms allow for exercising with greater intensity and heavier weights, thanks to soundproofing and noise reduction. Machines or cardio equipment can be placed on them.
Durable puzzle mat for home gym - available in our store
Rubber flooring has many advantages, making it perfectly suitable for both commercial facilities and home use. Here they are:
Durable and resistant to damage
Rubber flooring is ideal for a home fitness zone. It is resistant to damage, abrasion, and high traffic. You also don't have to worry about spilled liquids (water, isotonic drinks) - our rubber puzzles are waterproof, so mold won't develop on them.
Puzzle flooring is flexible, making it extremely durable and resilient. It is made of high-density rubber. It effectively absorbs the impact of barbells and dumbbells during exercise. Thanks to its high strength, it does not deform or warp under load (bench, ladder, pull-up bar, heavy equipment, cardio machines). The top layer is scratch-resistant!
Non-slip surface
Our surfaces made of high-quality rubber compounds are a very safe and most popular type of flooring. The non-slip surface guarantees adequate grip, even when wet. This minimizes the risk of accidental slipping or falling.
This type of surface is also dedicated to commercial gyms, sports halls, CrossFit training facilities, educational institutions, and others.
Sound-absorbing
Rubber mats will do a better job of reducing noise levels in a room than carpets made of other materials. This is because they are characterized by high elasticity, which makes them sound-absorbing. This is an ideal solution for homeowners and apartment dwellers, as it will provide sound and thermal insulation, which will increase the comfort of people in adjacent rooms.
Provides cushioning
Lifting weights, squats, dynamic exercises with body weight can strain joints. A professional rubber gym mat provides cushioning, which significantly improves comfort during various types of training (strength, CrossFit), and also reduces injuries and fatigue. This type of sports flooring absorbs impact during exercise, reducing stress on hip, knee, and ankle joints, as well as back pain.

Easy assembly
A great advantage of puzzle-type flooring is its quick and easy installation, which does not require gluing, and disassembly. In case of any damage to a tile, there is no need to replace the entire floor - just replace one element.
Simple maintenance and cleaning
The best solution for a home gym is rubber flooring, which is hygienic and easy to keep clean. Resistant to sweat and water, it prevents the accumulation of bacteria or the formation of mold. Relatively easy to keep clean - just vacuum it and wash it occasionally with water and a mild detergent.
