High-temperature O-rings are specially designed seals that operate in an extreme temperature range.

NBR O-rings for temperatures up to: +90°C

These conditions are met by one of the cheapest rubber compounds, namely NBR. O-rings made of nitrile rubber are characterized, among other things, by resistance to contact with hydraulic oils.

HNBR O-rings for temperatures up to: +150°C

Hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber is mainly intended for contact with ozone as well as oils and greases. Products made of HNBR perform very well in various conditions where resistance to damage and abrasion is of great importance. Also used for media in the form of diluted acids or acids with elevated sulfur content.

EPDM O-rings for temperatures up to: +150°C

EPDM O-rings are commonly used in brake systems - for contact with brake fluids DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5. Characteristic features of these O-rings are elasticity, resistance to deformation and abrasion. They are suitable for contact with hot water, steam, mild acids. They do not degrade under UV radiation. Also used in devices and machines (e.g., in air conditioning systems).

High-temperature O-rings

FEP O-rings to +205°C

Thanks to the Teflon lining, O-seals are more compatible in contact with chemicals and can operate over a wider temperature range. They are dedicated to applications in which standard seals do not have chemical resistance - which allows for their long-term use or in places where PTFE O-rings do not offer sufficient flexibility and resilience. Most often used in the pharmaceutical industry, petrochemicals and in areas where reduction of frictional vibrations is required.

Viton® FKM FPM O-rings to +210°C

The Viton O-ring is one of the strongest available on the market. It is dedicated for use in continuous contact with mineral and synthetic oils, as well as vegetable oils, silicone and mineral greases, gasoline and oil (diesel) - which confirms their use for fuel injections. FPM rings are resistant to ozone. The elastomers are insensitive to aging and potential harsh weather conditions. FKM O-rings are also used for contact in vacuum. They are used in various devices in the automotive, aviation and mining industries.

Silicone O-rings VMQ and FVMQ to +240°C

High-temperature silicone seals additionally have FDA certification, meaning they are approved for contact with food products. They can be used in contact with phenols, ozone, water - at temperatures lower than the maximum. Silicone is insensitive to the presence of vegetable and animal oils, as well as hot air. FVMQ compounds are characterized by better resistance to friction and contact with fuels than their basic version produced from the VQM compound. Both types are dedicated to static applications. Available in various sizes.

PFA O-rings to +260°C

High-temperature PFA O-rings in the lining version are available in variants that allow them to contact environments in which elevated temperatures prevail.

O-rings for high temperatures: +300°C

High-temperature Silicone O-rings for extreme temperatures +300°C

Silicone O-rings made of VMQ compound in a high-temperature version withstand short-term contact with the medium even up to +300°C.

Kalrez® FFKM O-rings to +327°C

Made from perfluoroelastomers FFKM or FFPM. Top-class O-rings dedicated to the most demanding conditions, such as: direct contact with crude oil on drilling platforms, pressure changes in the aviation industry, semiconductor production. Used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
