Static seals

Static seals are designed to prevent fluid leakage between two components that remain stationary. In such applications, there is no movement between the seal and the mating surfaces.

O-rings and X-rings are the most common types. Depending on the material, they can perform well under extreme temperatures, high pressure or exposure to aggressive chemicals.
