Vibration isolators are specially designed leveling mounts for industrial machines and equipment. Their purpose is to reduce the noise and vibrations emitted by machines and their components and to provide effective vibration isolation between the device and the substrate. Vibrations and shocks result from forces that act impulsively or variably. Regardless, vibrations caused by machines can be a serious threat to nearby buildings and their general surroundings. The effects of excessive vibrations are also felt by people in the workplace. To minimize this risk, vibration isolators or feet are used between the substrate and the machine.
What is the purpose of using dampers?
