4. Cleaning the Floor for Gym Mat Installation

5. Checking the Condition of the Floor

After cleaning the floor, we can move on to verifying the condition of our floor. The subfloor under our gym flooring should be uniform and free of damage, with no access to its lower layers, especially sand or styrofoam. Any defects in the top layer should be repaired.
