Sealing and guiding ring type K

The sealing and guiding ring type K is a precise component used in hydraulic cylinders, combining the functions of guiding and sealing the piston. Made of durable elastomer with carefully selected hardness, it ensures stability in guiding moving parts and effectively protects against leakage of the working medium. It operates at pressures up to 16 MPa and low sliding speeds, increasing the lifespan of hydraulic systems and reducing wear on working surfaces.

Sealing and guiding assemblies type K

Application:

The sealing and guiding assembly type K is designed to work in systems with reciprocating motion, such as pistons in hydraulic cylinders or double-acting cylinders. Its modern design is based on eliminating direct contact between the piston and the cylinder by using guiding rings made of durable plastics. This solution significantly increases the durability of working elements, providing high sealing efficiency and low friction.

Implementing type K rings in the construction of cylinders brings a range of design and operational benefits: it simplifies piston construction, reduces the length of cylinder sleeves, limits dead stroke, and facilitates the assembly process. This is the optimal solution for applications requiring reliable sealing and efficient piston guidance while maintaining the system's durability.

Construction and technical parameters:

The sealing and guiding ring type K is a modern component of hydraulic power, designed for reciprocating motion - mainly in hydraulic cylinders and double-acting cylinders. Its key advantage is the integrated guiding and sealing function, which eliminates direct contact between the piston and the cylinder sleeve. This significantly increases the durability of the entire assembly while reducing friction.

Type K rings are available in various design and material variants, tailored to diverse working conditions:

  • Elements marked KP (e.g., K2, K5) are made of high-quality urethane rubber (AU) with a hardness of 90° IRHD, ensuring excellent wear resistance.

  • Versions KG (e.g., K, K2) are produced from nitrile rubber (NBR) with a hardness of 82° IRHD, characterized by resistance to mineral oils and hydraulic fluids.

  • KF rings are manufactured from polyacetal - a high-crystallinity synthetic material providing stiffness and chemical resistance.

  • Type KT (e.g., K, K6) is based on a technical fabric impregnated with NBR rubber, reinforcing the structure and ensuring additional work stability.

  • Variants of KG (e.g., K3, K5) are also available in injectable polyurethane (UT) with a hardness of 90-95° IRHD.

All variants of the K series have been optimized to operate at speeds up to 0.5 m/s and are compatible with various media - including hydraulic oils, non-flammable fluids like HFA and HFB, and mineral oils.

The design of type K rings allows for simplifying piston construction, reducing cylinder sleeves, and decreasing dead stroke length of the cylinder, resulting in lower costs and more efficient operation of equipment. This solution is dedicated to demanding hydraulic systems where reliability, durability, and optimal sealing are crucial.
