Compressed air hose

Check the high quality of our compressed air hoses

Are you wondering where you will acquire specialized compressed air hoses? Without a moment's hesitation, we answer – in Power Rubber. We are a company that is recognized on the market due to the diligence and effectiveness of manufactured rubber products. This is possible thanks to our highly qualified staff, who keep their knowledge up to date. In addition, we can boast of an innovative technology park, which is a powerful knowledge base of the 21st century.

Compressed air hoses
Our compressed air hoses are made from a special rubber compound. Thanks to this, they boast an extremely tight and flexible formula. Thanks to these properties, hoses have an increased tolerance to any deformation, abrasion, bending or cracking of the hose surface. Special reinforcements add resistance to hoses against the harmful effects of adverse weather conditions.

Specialized compressed air hoses In the current category we present hoses that are used in the supply of pneumatic tools or other types of apparatus, where the main driver of work is compressed air. Our hoses are excellent intermediaries that ensure the efficient operation of other devices.

Compressed Air Hoses - Properties

Compressed air hoses are flexible tubes made of rubber, polyvinyl chloride, and polyurethane designed for transporting air to pneumatic tools. The most versatile hoses are made of rubber compounds with textile reinforcement.

Properties

Rubber hoses for air flow are resistant to bending, weather conditions, and light chemicals. Depending on the rubber compound they are made of, they may have additional properties:

  • SBR Rubber – elastic and resistant to high temperatures, alcohol, water, and acids;
  • NBR Rubber – oil-resistant, resistant to low temperatures, hydraulic fluids, gasoline, engine oils, and greases;
  • EPDM Rubber – resistant to mechanical damage, deformations, adverse weather conditions, high and low temperatures;

Both the outer and inner layer of the hose can be made of different rubber compounds. Additional textile reinforcement increases the hose's resistance to mechanical damage.

Proper selection of compressed air hoses

The choice of hose should consider:

  • Working conditions – whether the hose will be used indoors or outdoors, whether it needs to be resistant to weather conditions or abrasion;
  • Weight – to which pneumatic tool the hose will be connected; the lighter the hose, the less effort is needed when lifting tools;

In the Power Rubber offer, you will find:

  • Compressed air hoses 3.35 mm
  • Compressed air hoses 3.5 mm
  • Compressed air hoses 4 mm
  • Compressed air hoses 5.5 mm
  • Compressed air hoses 7 mm
  • Compressed air hoses 7.25 mm

Application of hoses for compressed air

Compressed air hoses are an essential element of pneumatic systems, providing the transport of pressurized air in many industries. They are most commonly used in:

  • Manufacturing industry - in assembly lines, pneumatically controlled machines, and automatic material feeding systems.
  • Mechanical workshops and car services - for powering impact wrenches, pneumatic lifts, and tire inflation tools.
  • Paint shops and spray painting facilities - for supplying air to paint guns and spray systems.
  • Construction - in powering pneumatic hammers, drills, or ventilation systems in tunnels and buildings.
  • Food industry - in production processes requiring clean air, such as in packaging and transporting products.

Benefits of using hoses for compressed air

Compressed air hoses provide reliable transport of pressurized air, which is crucial in industries, construction, and workshops. With high resistance to working pressure (up to 40 bars), they ensure stable operation of pneumatic tools such as impact wrenches, paint sprayers, and pneumatic lifts.

Their flexibility makes maneuvering and installation easy, even in hard-to-reach places, and the use of reinforcements (textile braid, steel) increases durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Hoses made of rubber, PVC, or polyurethane are resistant to wear, oils, and varying temperatures, allowing for their use in challenging conditions.

By selecting the right hose, pressure losses in pneumatic systems can be reduced, leading to energy savings and extended device lifespan. Proper use and maintenance ensure safety and optimization of operating costs.
