AF-1000® Plate

Series: GAMBIT AF High

Gasket plate designed for high-temperature flange connections, ideal for installations exposed to large pressure variations and high flow velocities of the medium. It stands out for its excellent mechanical resistance, making it widely used in the automotive industry. Not recommended for use with acids and alkalis. When used in steam installations, it is crucial to provide adequate mounting clamps. It is resistant to water, steam, gasoline, fuels, and oils.

Material and Composition

The GAMBIT AF-1000® gasket plate is made of KEVLAR® aramid fibers, mineral fibers, and specially selected fillers, bonded with NBR rubber-based adhesive. Additionally, it is reinforced with galvanized steel mesh, significantly increasing its mechanical strength and resistance to extreme working conditions.
