Polonit® GWM 1000x1000

The POLONIT® GWM plate is a multi-layer composite consisting of two layers of expanded graphite reinforced with a stainless steel insert in the form of perforated sheet with a thickness of 0.1 mm. Thanks to this construction, the plate combines high flexibility and tightness with excellent mechanical resistance, making it an ideal solution for demanding industrial applications.

POLONIT® GWM is a commercial equivalent of popular gasket sheets, such as RGS 3, Grafo 550P, Graflex GR, or Sigraflex Uniwersal, confirming its high quality and wide range of applications.

Application

The plate is designed for cutting gaskets operating in an environment with most chemical substances, except strongly oxidizing ones. Due to its excellent properties, it performs well in:

• high-pressure steam lines,
• heating installations with a heat carrier in the form of oil,
• pipes transporting hot substances,
• chemical equipment,
• sight glasses, pumps, and fittings,
• other connections requiring high tightness.
