Uses of rubber rings - what do they seal?
O-rings are placed between two or more parts in a special groove cut into one part, and then compressed by the second part. Due to the rubber's elasticity, O-rings eliminate minor imperfections on the surfaces of the sealed elements, creating a tight connection that prevents the passage of gases, hydraulic fluids, or dust.

The selection of the appropriate O-ring depends on the environment in which it will be used. If the seal will come into contact with oils, greases, gasoline, or fuel, it is important for it to be resistant to aging, deformation, and weather conditions.

In the food and chemical industries, certifications such as FDA certificates and tests are essential, ensuring that the seals do not transfer odors or flavors and are safe for contact with food and human skin.
