KLINGER® COMPENSIL
KLINGER® CompenSil is an innovative sealing solution designed for applications requiring effective sealing at low compressive forces. Thanks to its exceptional compensatory ability, it perfectly adapts to the contact surface, allowing it to be used even in areas with uneven load distribution. The material stands out for its excellent resistance to oils, hydrocarbons, cooling agents, and a wide range of chemical compounds, making it a versatile solution in many industrial sectors.
Construction
- mineral fibers with high elasticity
- NBR rubber-based adhesives
Applications
KLINGER® CompenSil is designed for applications where there are limitations in compressive strength. Due to its high elasticity, it effectively compensates for inaccuracies in the tightening process and seals uneven flange surfaces. It is particularly suitable for installations working with gases and liquids at low pressures and temperatures.
Key Properties
- high compressibility
- excellent recovery after load
- resistance to cold flow and creeping
- dimensional stability under various operating conditions
- uniform material structure
Benefits
- effective sealing of uneven flange surfaces
- possibility of use at low surface pressures
- increased resistance to cooling agents and chemicals
- reduced risk of leaks due to uneven compression
Standard Plate Dimensions
- dimensions: 2000 x 1500 mm
- thicknesses: 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, 3.0 mm
- tolerances: thickness according to DIN 28091-1
- length ±50 mm, width ±50 mm
- availability of other dimensions and tolerances on request
Certificates and Approvals
- DIN-DVGW
- DVGW VP 401
- TA-Luft (Clean Air)
KLINGER® CompenSil is the ideal solution for applications requiring reliable sealing with limited compressive capabilities. Its unique structure ensures long-lasting durability, effectiveness, and resistance to various process media.
