The POLONIT® GWM plate is a technologically advanced composite consisting of two layers of expanded graphite, reinforced with a stainless steel insert in the form of perforated sheet with a thickness of 0.1 mm. This plate is characterized by exceptional flexibility, high sealing properties, and excellent resistance to extreme working conditions.

POLONIT® GWM is a commercial equivalent to sealing plates such as RGS 3, Grafo 550P, Graflex GR, or Sigraflex Universal, confirming its high quality and versatility of applications.

Application

The plate is designed for cutting gaskets operating in an environment with most chemical substances, except highly oxidizing ones. It works perfectly in:

• steam transmission installations with high parameters,
• heating systems with an oil-based heat carrier,
• pipelines transporting hot substances,
• chemical equipment,
• joints requiring high tightness, such as sight glasses, pumps, and fittings.
