Power Protector protective mat

Power Protector protective mat is intended for protecting hard and smooth surfaces during renovation, construction, finishing and painting works. It is effective during plastering, spray application of plaster, painting and decorative works.

The mat protects the substrate against moisture, dirt, paint and mechanical damage. It is liquid-tight and waterproof, and its top side has an anti-slip coating.

Power Protector is intended for multiple use. After the work is finished it can be cleaned, rolled up and stored for reuse. The product can also be easily removed after the work is finished, without leaving adhesive residues on the floor.

Applications of the protective mat

The Power Protector mat is intended to protect surfaces during:

The product is suitable for use on hard and smooth floors, such as laminate, PVC, tiles and plastic floors.

Properties of the Power Protector mat

Liquid-tightness and waterproofing

The mat is liquid-tight and waterproof. It protects the substrate against moisture, dirt and paint during renovation and finishing works.

Anti-slip surface

The top side of the mat has an anti-slip coating.

Protection against mechanical damage

The mat protects the surface against mechanical damage during work. However, sharp tools and heavy equipment should be avoided directly on the mat, as this may cause tearing or damage.

Multiple use

After the work is finished the mat can be cleaned, rolled up and reused. Before next use, check the material for tears and signs of wear. Damaged mats should be replaced.

Easy removal 

After the work is finished the mat can be easily removed by starting at the edge and peeling it off gradually. The product does not leave adhesive residues on the floor.

Power Protector floor protective mat - Dimensions and laying

The mat is available in rolls with an area of 30 m² and a width of 1150–1400 mm.

When laying, maintain an overlap between individual strips of at least 5 cm. The strips should then be securely taped.

How to properly lay the protective mat?

Before starting, prepare the substrate. The surface should be dry, clean and free of dust.

1. Unroll the mat from one side of the room.
2. Lay subsequent strips with an overlap of at least 5 cm.
3. Secure the mat with tape.
4. Check that the material is securely fastened and does not shift during use.

Before applying the product over the entire surface, test its suitability on a small, inconspicuous area of the substrate.

Important information regarding use

The mat should be used only on dry surfaces.

Do not use the product on:

• newly laid floors,
• surfaces made of porous stone,
• natural stone floors,
• clay tiles,
• freshly poured concrete.

Before using the mat, completely turn off underfloor heating.

The maximum usage time of the product is 3 months.

During work, avoid using sharp tools and heavy equipment directly on the mat.

Rolls should be stored in a place out of reach of children and animals.

Cleaning and storage

After completing work, the mat can be cleaned of dust, dirt or spilled substances using a soft cloth.

If the mat is to be reused, clean it, roll it up and store it in a dry place. Unused rolls should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Before reuse, check the material for tears and wear.

After the end of the usage period, the material should be disposed of with mixed waste.
