Glue for rubber cords
Cords, which are made of rubber, are a specific material for gluing. An ordinary adhesive substance will not be able to permanently combine them. Therefore, you need to choose the product that can do it. And this is undoubtedly our glue. Our adhesives allow for quick corrective intervention. Cyanoacrylate adhesive
Cyanoacrylate adhesive for rubber cords is designed to bond rubber elements made of ethylene-propylene rubber (EPDM), nitrile rubber (NBR), and neoprene (CR). Cyanoacrylate rubber adhesive features a fast bonding time - it hardens in just a few seconds after application. It ensures good adhesion and quick curing.
Before bonding rubber cords, it is necessary to degrease the surface, which may contain residues of adhesion agents that could reduce its adhesion.
B 406 rubber adhesive is a one-component adhesive resistant to shearing forces (15-25 N/mm2), colorless, designed for bonding rubber elements (NBR, FKM, EPDM, Silicone) and plastics.
Cyanoacrylate adhesive activator (e.g. B 770 activator) is a preparation in the form of a dropper or spray that accelerates the bonding between two surfaces. First, cyanoacrylate adhesive is applied to the parts to be joined, and then the activator for bonding plastics is sprayed onto one of the bonded components.
Contact adhesive for rubber
Contact adhesive (dry adhesive) bonds rubber surfaces to synthetic and natural rubber. It creates a waterproof and airtight connection. The elastic rubber spray adhesive does not excessively penetrate the material and does not degrade under the influence of atmospheric conditions.
It is applied to both glued surfaces, which must be dried and cleaned of adhesion agents beforehand. The rubber cord spray adhesive immediately bonds the glued parts together.
The rubber spray adhesive facilitates its uniform application without the need for additional tools. This method of applying the product also affects its efficiency.
