SBR or EPDM rubber tiles are safe playground surfaces that are currently a commonly chosen material. They have become a staple not only in playgrounds but also in children's gymnasiums and outdoor gyms.

Concrete is hard and currently rarely used. Contact with it can lead to scratches, injuries, and bruises. Moreover, it does not provide any protection against falls from playground equipment (e.g. swings, ladders). What should safe surfaces creating a play and exercise area for the youngest be characterized by? **Durability** Panelled rubber granulate surfaces are extremely durable and resistant to crushing. They are suitable for intensive use for many years. SBR rubber plates are resistant to external factors and mechanical damage. **Shock-absorbing properties** Only the highest quality panelled rubber granulate SBR surfaces meet the latest EU standard PN-EN 1177:2019, protecting children from falls. A safe play and exercise area friendly to the youngest must provide adequate shock absorption. Our playground mats have a certificate confirming the critical fall height (HIC). **Non-slip surface** SBR rubber mats provide adequate grip, reducing the risk of serious injuries resulting from accidental tripping, slipping, or falling. The floor retains its properties even when wet. Other surfaces, such as sand, become muddy after rain, increasing the risk of falls and injuries. **Sound-absorbing properties** Investing in an SBR surface is an excellent solution, especially near residential areas and houses. The soft material absorbs echoes and minimizes the noise of playing children. **Allows for spot repairs** SBR plate surfaces fit tightly together, preventing the accumulation of dirt in the gaps. They are easy to clean. A huge advantage is the possibility of replacing one damaged element without the need to uninstall the entire floor.

SBR mats are quite commonly used on commercial and home playgrounds, as well as outdoor gyms. Thanks to their advantages and properties, mats are also used in covered entertainment centers and playgrounds, gardens, sports fields, terraces, patios, on jacuzzi platforms. It is the ideal surface for any application, providing pleasant walking comfort, not promoting mold development, offering excellent cushioning, reducing the risk of critical injuries from falls, and also: - prevents injuries in case of a fall - meets safety standards for playgrounds - provides a flat surface for wheelchair users - odorless and free from toxic substances - responds well to moisture

SBR plates are a type of safe surface that is extremely easy to install. First of all, it is worth taking care of leveling any unevenness on the surface on which the mats with a PZH certificate will be installed. Mark the surface and plan the layout of the mats to avoid unnecessary cutting during installation. The mats can be placed directly on the aggregate base without a stabilizing layer of sand and cement (a cheaper solution). They can be mounted on concrete and cobblestones. The installation method using pegs means that there is no need to glue the plates together or to the substrate. Each plate has 16 mounting sockets, which are connected to other plates using serrated pegs included in the set. A specially designed locking mechanism prevents the rubber SBR mats from shifting. Furthermore, it also minimizes the risk of damage between the plates.

Rubber curbs are a universal finishing option for the entire installation. They come in the same color scheme as the mats. They are mounted around the plates to immobilize them and for aesthetic reasons.

Overgrowth mats for playgrounds (e.g. overgrowth mat for playground 100x150 cm black HIC certified) have special, round holes that allow grass to grow on one side and provide protection for children playing outdoors on the other. The properties of mats include, among others: anti-slip and shock-absorbing properties that reduce the risk of children getting injured during play.
