A silicone sheet with an insert is a reinforced MVQ silicone sheet (methyl vinyl silicone rubber), in whose structure a special reinforcing insert has been embedded. The reinforcing insert increases mechanical strength, reduces elongation and dimensionally stabilizes the sheet during operation under compression.

The material is intended for applications where tightness and the repeatability of parameters over time are important - the insert reduces creep, limits deformations and reduces the risk of "squeezing out" the gasket from the joint.

MVQ sheets with an insert are used for the production of flat gaskets, membranes, technical spacers and thermal shields in the mechanical, energy, food and process industries.

Sheets are available in various thicknesses and Shore A hardnesses, with the possibility of cutting into formats and cutting elements with a CNC plotter. This is a solution for applications where a standard unreinforced silicone sheet does not provide the required stability and durability.
