Simmering CO/CS
Simmering CO/CS is a high-quality sealing ring designed to work under conditions of increased dust, moisture, and intense mechanical operation. It is equipped with an outer metal band and two elastomeric lips: the main sealing lip supported by a spring, and an additional dust lip designed to protect against external contaminants. This construction provides a double protective barrier for systems operating in challenging industrial environments.
Typically made of NBR rubber (acrylonitrile-butadiene), known for its excellent resistance to mineral oils, greases, fuels, and hydraulic fluids. Special versions are available in FKM (Viton®) for high-temperature resistance and resistance to aggressive media. Simmering CO/CS is used in internal combustion engines, gearboxes, hydraulic pumps, agricultural and construction machinery, and industrial equipment. Its design ensures not only high sealing performance but also prolonged service life of components.
