OP type sealing ring
The rectangular cross-section OP type sealing ring is a component mainly used for static sealing in hydraulic and pneumatic devices. Thanks to its geometry, it ensures uniform distribution of sealing pressure and effective operation under high-pressure conditions. Usually made of NBR rubber, it is resistant to oils, greases, and hydraulic fluids. Designed for industrial applications where sealing and durability are crucial.
Rectangular cross-section OP type sealing ring
The rectangular cross-section OP type sealing ring is a precise sealing element designed for applications in hydraulics and pneumatics - both in static and dynamic connections. Due to its geometry, it can be an effective alternative to traditional circular seals, providing better pressure distribution and system tightness.
OP rings are produced from various elastomeric compounds, including NBR, FPM, EPDM, and MVQ, allowing for material adaptation to specific working environments. Nitrile rubber (NBR) versions perform excellently in contact with mineral oils, fuels, or hydraulic fluids. Silicones (MVQ) maintain flexibility at low temperatures and are resistant to alcohol or salt solutions. FPM seals offer the highest chemical and temperature resistance - up to +250°C, making them an ideal choice for aggressive media and extreme conditions.
OP rings are available in hardness ranging from 60 to 90°ShA and can be used in temperatures from -50°C to +250°C - depending on the compound. Their flexibility, durability, and the option to choose the right material make them widely used in drive systems, hydraulic systems, industrial installations, and technical equipment. They are easy to install and provide reliable sealing even during prolonged operation.
