Z-ring scraper

The Z-ring scraper is a sealing element used in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, whose main task is to mechanically remove contaminants, moisture, and dust from the piston surface. Made of durable elastomer, it effectively protects the internal components of the actuator from damage and wear. Due to its design, the Z-ring extends the lifespan of proper seals and ensures the correct operation of the entire system even in challenging operating conditions.

The Z-ring scraper is a specialized sealing element used in hydraulic systems, designed to effectively remove contaminants from the surfaces of moving elements, such as pistons. Thanks to its flexible construction, the ring ensures easy and safe installation in the appropriate mounting groove, guaranteeing reliable operation even in demanding conditions.

It is made of high-quality nitrile rubber (NBR) or polyurethane (PU), with a hardness of 88-90°ShA, providing excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. It operates in a temperature range from -30°C to +100°C (for NBR) and from -40°C to +80°C (for PU), with a maximum sliding speed of ≤1 m/s.

The sealing material is resistant to mineral oils, greases, gas fuels, gasoline, hydraulic fluids HFA, HFB, HFC, as well as diluted acids and bases and water (up to 60°C). The Z-ring scraper protects hydraulic systems from contaminants entering the actuators, thereby safeguarding main seals and mechanical components from accelerated wear and damage. Ideal for use in mobile machinery, industrial equipment, and actuator systems operating in challenging environmental conditions.
