Rubber Cord Square
Square and rectangular rubber cords directly from the manufacturer of rubber products!
Sealing materials and seals are highly valued in the industry. Their design, made from high-quality specialized materials, allows for a wide range of applications. Sealing materials cannot afford failures and mistakes. They are essential wherever safety and professionalism are most important.
If you particularly need a seal with a rectangular cross-section, choose square rubber cords. Due to their properties, they are useful wherever an appropriate and professional seal with a non-circular cross-section is required.
Square Rubber Cord - Types of Rubber Blends
Rubber cords are a type of seal produced through continuous vulcanization, after which the cords undergo specialized calibration to obtain the proper shape and thickness. A correctly selected rubber cord for the working environment guarantees the highest tightness and longevity.
At Power Rubber, we offer a wide range of square cords made from the highest quality materials. Depending on the blend, they may be resistant to oils and fuels, petroleum products, brake fluids, greases, steam, aggressive chemicals, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, solvents, acids and alkalis, and may also provide thermal resistance, high abrasion resistance, and resistance to difficult weather conditions.
Both foamed and solid rubber cords are flexible and widely used to seal joints in industrial and agricultural machinery and equipment. They are also widely used in the food and automotive industries.
Rubber Cords
Here you can buy: Rubber cords - rectangular and square
NBR Rubber Cord
The square NBR rubber cord has good mechanical properties. It is characterized by good resistance to deformation and low wear, even with intensive use. Additionally, NBR rubber cords are designed for contact with oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, alcohols, etc. They have a wide temperature range from -30 °C to +120 °C.
EPDM Rubber Cord
We also offer EPDM rubber cords made from the highest quality materials. These cords show high resistance to harsh weather conditions, ozone, and UV radiation. Thanks to these properties, they can be used both indoors and outdoors. They can work at temperatures from -45 °C to +120 °C.
Neoprene CR Rubber Cord
Neoprene rubber (CR) is a synthetic elastomer produced by the polymerization of chloroprene. It is excellent for tough conditions. The rubber cord does not deform or crack under weight. Its unique advantage is its resistance to flames. It is resistant to weather, ozone, and UV radiation. It withstands both low and high temperatures (from -40 °C to +110 °C).
Silicone Rectangular Rubber Cord
We offer silicone rubber cords. Special attention should be given to silicone cords with rectangular or square cross-sections. Silicone – as already mentioned in the article "Silicone Rubber MVQ" – is a rubber resistant to high temperatures. The standard temperature range is from -60 °C to 200 °C, and in high-temperature versions, even up to 300 °C. We produce rubber cords made from VMQ silicone in various ShA hardnesses.
Applications of Rubber Cords
We also offer round-profile rubber cords. The products are available in various diameters and colors (e.g., black) and have wide applications in various industries, such as:
-
Construction
-
Seals for covers, packaging
-
Shipbuilding industry
-
Automotive industry
-
