Lathe Mounts – Anti-Vibration Machine Supports
Industrial vibration control for safer operations
Construction and manufacturing machines generate constant vibrations and noise, which can harm both the building structure and the operator’s health. That’s why using anti-vibration mounts is crucial for safety, stability, and comfort.
These supports isolate vibrations between the machine and the ground, reduce noise, and help ensure precise levelling of industrial equipment.
Where are vibration isolators used?
These anti-vibration feet are ideal for:
-
woodworking machines such as lathes, saws, sanding machines
-
metalworking machines like lathes or grinders
-
plastic processing machinery
-
general industrial machines
-
equipment used on construction sites
Types of vibration-damping mounts
1. Disc vibration isolators
Perfect for machines with wide speed ranges or dynamic impact loads.
-
Types TC and TCB: Available in sizes 160 and 200, resistant to oil, grease, and acids. Freestanding (no floor anchoring), allowing easy levelling.
-
Types TA, TR, TN, TB: Smaller sizes (80 and 120), suited for periodically dynamic forces. Size 120 is used for machines where floor anchoring is not needed.
-
Type TU: Universal for small devices. Available in sizes 50, 63, and 80.
-
Types TM and TMB: Membrane-type supports for heavy-duty machinery. Stainless steel options available on request.
2. Vibration-damping supports
Made from vibro-insulating plates, ideal for medium-sized machines. These mounts are screw-free, suitable where mounting holes are not available.
3. Levelling supports for lathes
Allow accurate machine levelling without the need for floor anchoring. They provide excellent vibration damping from the ground.
4. Wedge-type vibration isolators
Used for precise positioning on uneven floors, with height adjustment and vibration isolation. Ideal for machines with high vertical or horizontal dynamics.
Choosing the right anti-vibration support
We offer a wide range of anti-vibration machine feet and accessories. When choosing a lathe mount, consider the following:
-
machine size and total weight
-
vibration frequency and intensity
-
base height – to ensure appropriate screw length
We also manufacture custom isolators for non-standard machines, including double-coupling types and mounts for heavy or acid-resistant machines. Contact our specialists for help – our phone and email are listed on our contact page.
