KLINGER® MILAM PSS

KLINGER® MILAM PSS is a high-temperature sealing solution designed to work in extreme conditions, providing effective performance at temperatures up to 900°C and higher.

Construction
The product is based on an asbestos-free sealing material, reinforced with a perforated insert made of stainless steel 1.4401 (AISI 316) with a thickness of 0.1 mm. The material is impregnated with high-quality silicone oil, eliminating the presence of fibers and ensuring the physical properties remain unchanged even in extreme temperature conditions.

Applications
KLINGER® MILAM PSS stands out for its exceptional thermal stability - weight loss at 800°C is less than 5% - and excellent chemical resistance to solvents, aggressive acids, alkaline compounds, and mineral oils. Due to these properties, the material finds wide applications in exhaust systems and in applications requiring resistance to oxidation and aggressive environments.

Standard Dimensions
The sheets are available in dimensions of 1000 x 1200 mm and in the following thicknesses:

  • PSS 130: 1.3 mm (tolerance ±8%)
  • PSS 200: 2.0 mm (tolerance ±10%)
  • PSS 300: 3.2 mm (tolerance ±10%)

Additionally, length and width tolerances are ±4 mm, and the product can be customized to other dimensions and thicknesses upon request.
