Polonit® FA-300 1500x1500
NBR gasket sheet is a composite material made of aramid fibers, other synthetic fibers, and thermally resistant fillers bonded with nitrile rubber (NBR). Thanks to its advanced structure, it stands out for its high resistance to chemical factors, temperatures, and pressures, making it an excellent choice for demanding industrial environments.
High durability and wide range of applications
The sheet is designed for cutting gaskets operating in challenging conditions, in contact with cold and hot water, steam, alcohols, salt solutions, weak acids and bases, neutral gases, and petrochemical products.
The product ensures reliability in the following conditions:
- Maximum working pressure: 9 MPa
- Maximum momentary temperature: 300°C
- Continuous operating temperature: 250°C
- Operating temperature with steam: 150°C
In cases of simultaneous exposure to high temperature and pressure, it is recommended to not exceed the maximum values of 4.0 MPa and 200°C.
Certificates and compliance with standards
The sheet holds various certificates confirming its high quality and safety of use:
- WUG (GM 154/98) – approval for use in mines, indicating resistance to tough working conditions.
- PZH – certificate confirming safety in contact with drinking water, allowing for use in water supply installations.
- UDT (M-14-01-/1-04) – approval for use in pressure systems and in the energy industry.
Available sizes and thicknesses
The sheet is available in thicknesses from 0.4 mm to 5.0 mm, with precise dimensional tolerances.
Standard sheet sizes are 1000 x 1500 mm and 1500 x 1500 mm,
while larger dimensions are available upon request: 1000 x 2000 mm, 1500 x 2000 mm, 1500 x 3000 mm, and 2000 x 3000 mm.
Intended use and industries where it is applied
NBR gasket sheet is widely used in various industries where resistance to high temperature, pressure, and aggressive substances is crucial. It is used in:
- Chemical and petrochemical industry – as a seal resistant to fuels, oils, alcohols, and chemicals.
- Energy and district heating – in high-temperature, steam, and water installations.
- Mining industry – compliant with WUG standards, suitable for work in tough underground conditions.
- Water and sewage industry – used in water supply systems and installations in contact with drinking water.
- Industrial pressure systems – in systems requiring high mechanical resistance and dimensional stability.
NBR gasket sheet is a reliable and proven solution that guarantees durability and reliability in demanding operating conditions. By combining high mechanical and chemical resistance, it provides an optimal solution for industries where maximum sealing integrity and longevity of seals are essential.
