Simering BO
Simering BO is a sealing ring with a metal casing and two sealing lips, one of which - the working lip - is equipped with a pressure spring, while the other lip serves as a dust lip (without a spring). The external metal surface ensures precise and rigid placement in the housing, which is particularly important in applications exposed to high temperatures, intense mechanical loads, and aggressive media. The dust lip effectively protects against the ingress of external contaminants - such as dust, water, or metal chips - increasing the lifespan of the entire sealing system.
BO type simerings are used in demanding drive systems, industrial machinery, gearboxes, engines, and hydraulic units. Depending on the working medium, variants made of NBR or FKM elastomers are available, resistant to oils, greases, fuels, chemicals, and high temperatures. This is a solution for applications where not only pressure sealing matters, but also effective protection of the mechanism against external factors.
