Stream speed

With increasing pressure, the speed of the water jet increases. As the stream passes through the orifice, speed is all that matters – the pressure is completely converted. In abrasive cutting, the speed of the stream determines the speed of cutting, reduces the diameter of the stream and the amount of abrasive agent required.
